Kelly Brook reveals boyfriend Jeremy Parisi rejected her marriage proposal on holiday

Kelly Brook has revealed she was turned down by her boyfriend when she proposed to him on holiday.

Brook, 38, asked Jeremy Parisi to marry her while the pair enjoyed some time together in Antigua earlier this year, but he was left unimpressed.

Speaking to OK! she said: “When we were in Antigua and the sun was setting and we were up at Shirley Heights I said to Jeremy: ‘Will you marry me?’ and he said: ‘Be quiet there are people around!’

“So I tried to propose but he said it was too busy and told me to be quiet. I’ve asked him, but it wasn’t private enough.”

Brook said she didn’t feel taken aback by the rejection, saying they’re both happy to “go with the flow”.

She continued: “We’re so happy as we are at the moment, I don’t think it’s really important to us.

“We’re just going with the flow and we’re happy travelling and doing our thing.

“It could put a bit of pressure on us that we don’t really need.”

Brook recently opened up about having children, saying she fears she is “up against it” now she is in her late 30s.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “I think coming from a working class family and seeing my mum and dad struggle it was very much a case of being independent and having my own money and buying my own house was the important thing.

“I spent so much time on my career and making money that having a family was so left behind and now I’m in my late 30s I wish I’d thought of having children earlier because I feel like now I’m up against it. I’ve got all these amazing things but I haven’t got children.”

Brook said she doesn’t know if she will be able to carry a child and that she would have made “different choices” in her 20s if she had known how difficult it would be to conceive later in life.
