Leonardo DiCaprio’s steak gets seasoning from Salt Bae
Leonardo DiCaprio got a taste of the Salt Bae treatment.
The Oscar-winning actor met the meme sensation, real name Nusret Gökçe, while dining out in the Dubai branch of his steakhouse chain.
Salt Bae captured the moment on Instagram in a picture which shows him seasoning DiCaprio’s steak as the actor looks on.
Salt Bae shared the picture alongside the hashtags: “#saltbae #saltlife #salt.”
The Turkish chef became an Internet hit after a video emerged of him delicately slicing an Ottoman steak before sprinkling it with salt from a height.
The mouth-watering clip, which has had 10 million views to date, paved the way for more meat slicing videos – much to the delight of his new-found fans.
Others show him de-ribbing a slab of meat and slamming a steak onto a griddle pan.

DiCaprio was no doubt enjoying some free time before heading back to Los Angeles for the Oscars.
The actor - who won an Academy Award at last year's ceremony for his role in The Revenant - will be turning his hand to presenting this year.
DiCaprio will give out the Best Actress award while Brie Larson will hand out the male equivalent.
Mark Rylance and Alicia Vikander have also been confirmed to present the awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress.
