Love Island fans call for Kendall Rae-Knight and Kem Cetinay to date after ‘chemistry’ during Aftersun appearance

Love Island fans think that they have the show’s hottest new romance pegged, but it won’t be happening in the Majorcan villa.

Viewers of the hit ITV2 show’s spin-off programme Aftersun picked up on rather a lot of “chemistry” between dumped islander Kendall Rae- Knight and last year’s winner Kem Cetinay on Sunday night.

Fans of the show have called for the pair to go on a date after Kendall was callously ditched by Adam on Friday, when he chose to couple up with newcomer Rosie instead of her.

But it seems that Kem has his eye on the model, who he described as “beautiful”, before admitting that he would have stepped forward for her if he was on the show this year.

“There’s no way that Kem and Kendall won’t be swapping numbers tonight... #LoveIsland #LoveIslandAftersun,” one viewer wrote on Twitter after the show.

Another posted: “Kem and Kendall seriously need to become a thing!!!!! #loveisland.”

One rather excited viewer wrote: “Made a ship name for Kendall and Kem - Kemdall #LoveIsland.”

Kem won the show alongside his partner Amber Davies last year but they called it quits just months after returning to the UK.

Speaking out on the split recently, Kem told The Sun: “It was me who called it a day.

“I couldn’t carry on going on the way we were. We were arguing over silly things and it just didn’t feel right.”

He added: “We slowly realised we were different in some ways and started to clash more. I think we grew apart a bit.”

Amber is now in a relationship with James Hawkins, but Kem recently admitted that he’s single and looking for love.
