Despite Depeche Mode singing Question of Time, musicians are not renowned for their time keeping, unless they are the drummer, which isn't something concerning Depeche Mode. Perhaps this, along with their long association with music, is why the luxury Swiss watchmaker RAYMOND WEIL involve themselves with the BRIT Awards. The days of pop stars falling over during press conferences are fading, which might be our loss, but demonstrates the professionalism underpinning the contemporary music industry; with RAYMOND WEIL clearly feeling it can now be trusted with elegant time pieces.

The luxury Swiss watch maker has a history steeped in music and have always named their watches using musical references and even collaborated with musicians such as Jay Kay (Jamiroquai) and Craig David on watch designs. Music is something RAYMOND WEIL enjoys as much as the elegant glint of their watches on the arms of the big players, such as Dizzee Rascal, Lemar, Florence and all of the BRIT Awards winners.

RAYMOND WEIL began their partnership with the BRIT Awards in 2008. In 2009 RAYMOND WEIL produced a limited edition Freelancer watch and in 2010 the brand designed a produced a limited run of 30 watches to celebrate the BRIT Awards 30th Anniversary, the Noemia 5927-STS-00995. The Noemia is a subtle reference to the granddaughter of RAYMOND WEIL, the company founder.

This year's designs leads on from previous years, with the minimal Freelancer 7735-STC for men, and the ladies' diamond encrusted black mother of pearl Noemia 5932-SLS. Each watch is engraved with this year's BRIT Awards logo and individual numbers, and is a suitable equal to the award itself.
