Perrie Edwards accused of ‘copying’ ex Zayn Malik’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid with biker look
Perrie Edwards was accused of throwing shade at Gigi Hadid by showcasing a biker look hours after Hadid modelled a similar look on the catwalk.
Hadid – who is dating Edwards’ ex fiancé Zayn Malik – worked a TH x GH cropped T-shirt and blue leather leggings for the Tommy Hilfiger show at Milan Fashion Week.
Edwards later donned a cropped white T-shirt, trainers and blue and black leggings as she posed in a string of Instagram snaps.
In an apparent nod to Hilfiger’s race track themed catwalk she captioned one shot: “We didn’t just look the part. We tore up the track.”
Fans were quick to accuse her of “copying Gigi” and making a dig with one commenting: “Lmao is u shading Gigi?”
Another wrote: “Hmm TxG collection is connected with racing etc. and suddenly Perrie appears wearing racing trousers...”
A third posted: “Lol tell me she doesn't look like Gigi for Tommy.”
Others defended Edwards, claiming she has worn the trousers before, with one writing: “She has these pants like a year ago.”
Another wrote: “Lol yes because she spends her days and her money on making sure to stalk her ex’s girlfriend and do everything she does. Get a life.”
Edwards and Malik met in 2011 before announcing their engagement in 2013. But they called time on their relationship in 2015, with Edwards claiming the former One Direction singer broke up with her over text.
Documenting the split in Little Mix's book, Our World, she wrote: “It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that.

“After I split with my partner, out of the blue, I had nowhere to go, which was incredibly stressful. For a while I had no idea what to do.”
Malik later denied the claim, telling Fader: “I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that.
“She knows that, I know that, and the public should know that as well.”
Malik went on to date Hadid while Edwards recently started dating footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
