Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan labelled This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby "snivelling little b*****ds" in a joke rant at the TV Choice Awards.

The TV presenter laughed that his ITV co-workers always bag the awards, adding that he dislikes them for it.

As he walked on stage to present an award, Morgan congratulated the This Morning team on winning the best daytime show for the fourth year in a row.

He said: “Love you so much.

“Actually I don’t love you I hate you, you snivelling little b*****ds. Every time we come to these things I am told it’s our time.”

The audience erupted into laughter, as Morgan added: “It’s never our time, it’s always their time, f**k you and f**k your awards.”

Elsewhere at the event, Chris Packham received a mixed reaction after taking a dig at I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for "animal abuse."

The 58-year-old, who was picking up the Best Factual Show award on behalf of Blue Planet, reportedly received a mixture of applause and boos as he used his speech to call for the team behind I’m A Celeb directly to change their habits and help the environment.

He said: “I'm A Celebrity, can you please think about no longer abusing animals on your programme?"

Following claims the room reacted with boos, Packham tweeted: “Oh dear , apparently I’ve been booed (?) at the @TVChoice awards for very politely requesting that @imacelebrity finally stop abusing wildlife on their programmes . . . I’ll be losing sleep over that then.” [sic]

He also retweeted a post from a follower who said his comments were, in fact, well received.

The user, who said they were in attendance, shared: “Booed...? Funny, I don’t remember that. There was quite a lot of support for sticking up for animals and trying to prevent animal abuse on.”
