Professor Green takes to Twitter to criticise Labour's 'stupid' mansion tax
Professor Green revealed he wants to take more of an interest in politics after criticisng Labour’s proposed mansion tax on Twitter.
The tax would see owners of properties worth more than £2m face an annual charge with the hope that the money raised will fund the NHS.

Green, 31 – who is married to former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh – branded the idea “stupid”.
He tweeted: “Just reading up on the proposed mansion tax and rent caps, what stupid ideas.”

He shortly added, “Hey - you worked hard your whole life, the area you bought your house in boomed and now we want your money”, before finishing: “My final point on this is the value of the house you live in is not an indicator for income, mansion tax doesn’t seem that well thought out.”
After laying into the proposed tax he tweeted: “like so many people i was quite ignorant to politics - we should all be far more invested in the runnings of our country.”
The Lullaby singer isn’t the first celebrity to blast the proposed tax. Mylene Klass recently laid into Ed Milliband during a live interview on ITV’s The Agenda, and Angelina Jolie and Sol Campbell have also criticised the policy.
