Scarlett Moffatt has confirmed her new relationship with policeman Scott Dobinson, revealing that she’s relieved that there’s “no drama” in her latest romance.

Appearing on Lorraine earlier today, the former Gogglebox star told Lorraine Kelly that her mum was “ecstatic” to see her with a “normal” boyfriend when the presenter probed her about her love life.

“He is very lovely,” Moffatt said of her new partner.

“My mum is so happy. I keep saying to people, ‘He’s so normal’ and everyone’s like ‘That’s not a good descriptive word,’ but it is for me.

“My mum is ecstatic that I’m with a normal person, he’s a policeman he’s got a really nice family as well, he’s just a nice person.

“There’s not drama as well, it’s not like sometimes when you have boyfriends and then you’ll go on a night out and you come back and you’ll have loads of stories. We’ll just go out and then we have a nice time and go back and watch the telly.”

The couple sparked relationship rumours earlier this month, when they posted a loved-up selfie on Instagram Stories.

At the time, a source told The Sun that Moffatt and Dobinson had met through a mutual friend.

“Scott seems like a really stand-up guy,” the insider told the publication. “He could be good for her.

“The pair met through a mutual friend and hit it off straight away.”

The former I’m A Celebrity winner was previously linked to personal trainer Lee Wilkinson, but called time on the relationship last April.
