Sophie Ellis-Bextor dazzles in ethereal shoot for Dulux Copper Blush campaign

Sophie Ellis-Bextor looked pretty in pastel pinks as she posed in a romantic boudoir for Dulux’s new campaign.

The stunning 35-year-old singer – who was unveiled as the face of this year’s 2015 Colour of the Year, Copper Blush – can be seen waking up in satin lingerie before donning a pink robe.

Sophie - who is set to head back into the studio to record her sixth album - can be heard reading an Emily Dickinson poem in the behind the scenes video.

Talking about the inspiration for the shoot, she said: "Part of the inspiration for the story with the Dulux shoot has been an Emily Dickinson poem and it's a lovely poem. I suppose it's an affectionate poem about friendship and someone you really care about."

The Strictly Come Dancing finalist said that it was "great" to be a part of such a "lovely" shoot.

"Style is incredibly important to my everyday life and although people regularly comment on my vintage fashion tastes, it was really great to be part of such a lovely contemporary shoot with Dulux," she said.

“Copper really is everywhere at the moment and totally on trend so it's no surprise that Copper Blush is this year's Colour of the Year. The shade is full of warmth and it was a real pleasure to wake up in such a lovely bedroom."
