Tom Hiddleston has revealed he is still friends with Taylor Swift despite their recent break-up.

The British actor, 35, told reporters that there is no bad blood between them as he worked the red carpet at the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

"Yes. Yes, we are," he told PEOPLE when asked if his split was amicable.

Hiddleston and Swift, 26, hit the headlines in June, weeks after Swift split from DJ Calvin Harris.

The pair were spotted getting close on a beach near Swift’s Rhode Island home before being pictured on holiday in Rome, visiting Hiddleston’s family in England and celebrating the Fourth of July in America. Swift also travelled to Australia with the actor while he filmed Thor: Ragnarok.

But the pair reportedly called time on their whirlwind three month romance after a row over the Emmy Awards.

Swift reportedly feared that their relationship was becoming too public after Hiddleston asked her to join him at the awards bash.

“It was fun while it lasted, but Taylor has now had enough,” a source told The Sun.

"She doesn’t want a serious relationship and that’s where it was heading. It was all far too public, in the end. Tom freaked her out with his love of the limelight.”

Hiddleston was at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards after being nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.

He also presented the Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special category, with Priyanka Chopra to The Night Manager director Susanne Bier.
