Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has become a Real Madrid fan - thanks to David Beckham.

The Collateral star was spotted sitting next to David and Victoria Beckham at last night's Madrid game - and saw Michael Owen score once again.

Cruise, 42, and the Beckhams watched as Real beat Spanish rivals Getafe 2-0.

Becks, 29, who has broken ribs, invited his new movie pal to join him and his family in his VIP box at the famous Bernabau stadium, sitting out the match with Victoria and their children Brooklyn, five, and Romeo, two, The Sun reports.

Cruise, a huge sports fan, is in Madrid to promote his Church of Scientology religion, according to the paper.
