Georgia May Jagger has told how her rock-star father Sir Mick insisted schoolwork should come before her modelling career.

The youngest daughter of the Rolling Stone and Jerry Hall said he was strict about ensuring her essays were completed on time.

Speaking to ES magazine, Jagger, who was 16 when she first trod the catwalk for Vivienne Westwood, said: "My dad was fine about me modelling at 16 because I always said school was important. I chose jobs carefully so I wouldn't have to take too much time off. It got harder with my A-levels; I was doing homework on the plane."

Jagger, 19, who lives with Hall in Richmond and did her A-levels at Collingham college in Earl's Court, is now a designer for Hudson jeans.
