Inside Jaime Winstone’s Sicilian wedding: 12 bridesmaids and a shamanic sound healer

Actress Jaime Winstone wed her fiancé James Suckling in Sicily over the weekend, surrounded by more than 250 of their friends and family.

The 38-year-old, who is the daughter of Ray Winstone, pulled out all the stops for the milestone event at La Tonnara di Scopello, which included a star-studded guestlist, 12 bridesmaids and a shamanic sound healer.

The celebrations kicked off five days before the ceremony as guests travelled to Sicily for their respective stag and hen parties.

When the big day came around, Winstone said ‘I do’ in a Vivienne Westwood gown and long tulle veil at the 13th century former tuna factory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

According to MailOnline, the couple were blessed by a shamanic sound healer before the Love, Rosie star walked up the aisle alongside her 12 bridesmaids in matching dresses.

The Love, Rosie star was captured throwing her bouquet off the balcony following the ceremony while her other half looked suave in a black tuxedo.

Guests in attendance, included her dad Ray Winstone, actress Sheridan Smith, actor Jason Connery as well as presenters Nick Grimshaw and Miquita Oliver.

Oliver shared a glimpse of the couple’s big day on her Instagram, including photos of the pair after saying their vows, while Smith posted images from the location on her social media.

The couple’s sun-soaked nuptials come after they got engaged in June 2022 where Suckling proposed at Glastonbury festival.

At the time, Winstone announced the happy news on her Instagram where she showed off her unique purple and blue diamond ring alongside her now-husband.

In her posts, the TV star gushed she was still “on cloud nine” after the “special” proposal as she thanked Suckling well as her friends and family.

The couple, who have been dating since March 2015, welcomed a son, Raymond, together in February 2016.
