Rap singer Kanye West popped into Nando’s for a chicken dinner and surprised fans by jumping on a table on Wednesday night.

The star, who performed at the Brit Awards for the first time since 2006, looked to have shunned the lavish sit down meal inside the awards bash and was photographed at the restaurant next to London’s 02 arena in Greenwich.

Fans swarmed the singer and rushed to take selfies while they were tucking into peri-peri chicken meals.

Kanye delighted diners by leaping on a table while the adoring crowd could be heard cheering “Yeezus”, the name of his sixth studio album.

It is reported he went on to order a plain burger and chips, medium double burger, garlic bread and a quarter chicken, but no word on whether he was sharing with his wife Kim Kardashian.
