Kate Moss has been voted the most stylish British woman of all time

The supermodel, 32, came ahead of some of the last century's most iconic fashion figures, like Twiggy and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Actress Sienna Miller, 24, is second in the poll, followed by 20-year-old Oscar-nominated Pride And Prejudice star Keira Knightley.

The survey, which shows Moss's troubles have done nothing to damage her image, was completed by more than 5,000 readers of the weekly glossy magazine Grazia.

The late Princess Diana is fourth, while fifth place goes to fashion designer Stella McCartney.

Sixties model Twiggy is sixth, followed by TV presenter Cat Deeley, Victoria Beckham, and actresses Elizabeth Taylor and Rachel Weisz.

Supermodel Erin O'Connor is 11th, followed by Peaches Geldof and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Grazia editor Jane Bruton said: "Kate Moss may have tripped up recently but with 17% of readers voting her as Britain's Most Stylish Woman, she never seems to put a fashion foot wrong."
