Chesney topped the charts in 1991 at the tender age of nineteen with a five-week run at number one but disappeared from the limelight until 2001 when he embarked on a 'mini' tour with his four-piece band.
Initially intended to take in five dates, it continued to be extended due to the overwhelming response from audiences.
Chesney has combined touring with several TV appearances, recently proving his athletic ability as a medal winner on Channel 4's The Games and delivering a winning performance on the show Hit Me Baby One More Time, which secured him a place in the final on 21st May.
