Since quitting Britain to launch a film career in Hollywood, Lady Victoria Hervey has decided to embark on another earnest project.

‘I’m writing my autobiography,’ says the 31-year-old aristocrat.

‘I’ve written a few chapters and the US publishers are very interested.

Socialites on both sides of the Atlantic will no doubt await the book’s publication with trepidation and Lady V admits her famous rift with fellow It Girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson over restaurateur Mogens Tholstrup eight years ago will be a suitably juicy chapter.

‘I’ll be writing about it but Tara and I are friends now,’ says Victoria.
