It proved third time unlucky for Hillingdon's Bishopshalt on their travelsto Essex.

Having won at Coopers and Davenant Foundation, they found WilliamDe Ferrers one hurdle too many.

The home side wrapped it up by half timewhen they led 22-0 and although the visitors came back with a converted trythe result was never in doubt.

No 8 James Gambrill opened the William DeFerrers account when he picked up and drove over and they added a secondsoon after when fly half Andrew Williams's angled run took him under theposts. He converted his own try.

Flanker Jonathan Ess pounced on a droppedball to score the third, Williams converting again before slotting over apenalty.

Bishopshalt had more of the ball in the second half but could onlymanage one try and the home side were eventually awarded a penalty try, converted by Williams.
