Black Caps add Grant Elliott to one-day squad after their opening defeat

New Zealand have included Grant Elliott in their squad for the remainder of the NatWest Series one-day internationals against England.


The South Africa-born all-rounder has been added as cover for injured Jacob Oram, who suffered a hamstring strain on Friday during the warm-up for the Twenty20 international at Old Trafford.

Oram will not be considered for Wednesday's second match in Birmingham and is regarded as doubtful for Saturday's game in Bristol, which has prompted the tourists to call upon Elliott.
