Bolton sign Taylor

12 April 2012

Bolton have signed Matt Taylor from Portsmouth on a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old has been out of favour on the south coast so far this season and had been expected to leave Fratton Park at some point this month.

Bolton boss Gary Megson told the club's website, bwfc.co.uk: "Matt is a quality player who is very versatile on the left-hand side. He is a proven Premier League performer who will bring additional quality to our squad."

He added: "He has attracted interest from a number of clubs and I am delighted that we have managed to bring him to the Reebok Stadium."
