Brain commits to Bristol

12 April 2012

Bristol assistant coach John Brain has extended his contract with the Guinness Premiership strugglers by a year.

"It's good to get everything sorted so early," said Brain. "I can now focus on the rest of the season and continue with my planning for 2009/10."

Bristol have also confirmed the signing of centre Jack Adams from Gloucester.

Adams, 22, is an England sevens international and made his Gloucester debut as an 18-year-old.

Bristol head coach Paul Hull said: "He is a strong, direct runner with experience of domestic and European rugby. He will be a great asset to our squad."
