Brentford celebrating safety

14 April 2012

Martin Allen was today celebrating the achievement of his primary goal for the season.

After last year's relegation battle, the Brentford manager set his side a target of 51 points to stay up. That threshold was reached with the 3-3 draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Deon Burton, Ryan Peters and Stephen Hunt scored as Brentford fought back from 3-1 down.
