Broncos break club record against Wakefield

14 April 2012

London Broncos hit new heights with a club record 72-8 victory over previously unbeaten Wakefield in the Engage Super League.

Luke Dorn, Tyrone Smith, Lee Hopkins and Lee Greenwood all touched down twice at Griffin Park as they beat their previous best win of 58-0 against Workington nine years ago. Paul Sykes (above) also set a new club record for goals in a match with 12.

Broncos coach Tony Rea said: "This mob is scintillating to watch. I've already said you will not see better rugby of either code played in London."
