Byrd swoops as Purdy slips

14 April 2012

Ted Purdy missed a short birdie putt on the last hole to hand the BC Open title to Jonathan Byrd at the En-Joie Club in Endicott, New York.

Byrd, whose only other win on the US Tour was at the Buick Challenge in 2001, finished with a 20-under-par total of 268.
