Chelsea told: Lay off Totti

Francesco Totti and his club Roma have said he will not be joining Chelsea during next month's transfer window.

Totti, who has scored seven goals in Serie A this season, added: "I have a contract here which doesn't expire until 2006 and I intend to respect it."
