Duo handed England debuts

England handed international debuts to paceman Stuart Broad and all-rounder Mike Yardy for their Twenty20 clash with Pakistan at Bristol.

The tourists, looking to put the ball-tampering row behind them, selected fit-again pace duo Shoaib Akhtar and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan.

And they were soon into the action as England, who also recalled Darren Gough, won the toss and elected to bat first.
