Eriksson's warning to England

Ken Dyer13 April 2012

Sven-Goran Eriksson today warned that England's World Cup qualifier here in Athens tomorrow night will be the most difficult of his reign so far.

Eriksson reported no injury problems after today's training session and is expected to field a full-strength team against the Greeks.

He admitted: "It is always difficult playing here in Greece and to win we must work very hard.

"When they have the ball for example, we have to fight to get it back and be aggressive.

"Tomorrow's match will be the most difficult so far but, if we win it, we can make life very interesting.

"None of the team believe it will be easy, but I know there are other people who are already looking at the match against Germany in September.

"That is a mistake. Let us play Greece first, before we think about that."
