Eto'o: snub to Spurs
Samuel Eto'o today insisted he would never join Tottenham - because they simply aren't good enough.
Juande Ramos's audacious bid to sign the 27-year-old Barcelona striker appeared to have broken down over his wage demands of around £107,000-a-week.
But the Cameroon international now insists: "Tottenham, and I hope the English fans will forgive me, are a club in mid-table and I need more. I cannot exclude the option of Inter Milan."
