Favre feels the strain as Jets leave it late

Jay Feely kicked a 34-yard field goal in overtime to give the New York Jets a 34-31 win against the New England Patriots and put them top of the AFC East division.

However, the Jets led 24-6 at one stage and veteran quarterback Brett Favre, who they persuaded to come out of retirement this season, said: "Beating the Patriots means a lot but, believe me, that wasn't easy. This is what I came back for."
