Swedish midfielder Hakan Mild has recovered from a groin injury which he feared would rule him out of Wimbledon's promotion play-off push in the First Division and the World Cup.

Mild could need surgery in the summer but hopes to play in tomorrow's game against West Brom at Selhurst Park after receiving treatment from a specialist in Gothenburg at the beginning of the week. He said: "I feel good and will be available."

Wimbledon manager Terry Burton believes they can make the play-offs after a run of only one defeat in ten games. He said: "We need to continue this run to stand a chance."
