Germany will host the Champions League Final for a second time in four years after UEFA revealed today that Berlin’s Olympic Stadium will stage the 2015 showpiece.

The final was held at the Allianz Arena in Munich last season, where Chelsea were victorious on penalties.

Wembley, the venue for Saturday’s all-German clash, is staging the final for the second time in three years having hosted the 2011 event won by Barcelona. The 2015 Europa League Final takes place in Warsaw.

UEFA are set to award a Champions League place to the Europa League winners from the 2014-15 season to make the competition more attractive.
