Andy Scott was furious after Brentford ignored his warnings and crashed out 1-0 to Aldershot Town.
Wade Small's eighth-minute goal for the League Two side settled the first‑round replay with Brentford's only real chance coming when Robbie Simpson hit the post.
Boss Scott said: "It is driving me mad. We talked about their system and watched videos but not enough notice was taken."
