Arsenal have been made second favourites to sign unsettled Liverpool star Raheem Sterling this summer by bookmakers.

The 20 year-old has triggered speculation that he could quit Anfield after it emerged that he has put on hold signing a new deal until the season ends.

Bookmakers William Hill make Manchester City favourites (6-1) to secure the England starlet's signature with a lucrative offer.

However, Arsenal are now 9-1 to snap up Sterling with Chelsea next in the queue at 12-1.

Standard Sport confirmed today that Arsenal are monitoring the contract stand off between Sterling's representatives and Liverpool, with Wenger holding a long standing interest in the attacker.

Nevertheless, William Hill believe that he will stay at Liverpool - offering 8/15 that he is a Reds player at the start of next season.
