William Saliba has completed his move to Arsenal - and has been pictured in his new club's colours for the first time.

While the 18-year-old is set to return to Saint-Etienne on loan for the 2019-20 season, he has been put through his paces with the club's fitness coach Sam Wilson at the club's London Colney training facilities.

The France youth international becomes their second signing of the day following the arrival of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid.

Arch rivals Tottenham were also interested in signing Saliba, with the youngster confirming he rejected the chance to join Mauricio Pochettino's side in favour of a move to the Emirates.

"Well, the history, the badge... since I was little, I've been watching Arsenal play in the Champions League and so on, and there are a lot of French players who have come through here," Saliba sais.

"So that really helped me to make my mind up."
