On the 50th anniversary of England's World Cup win a new film is set to celebrate the life of the captain who led the country to its finest footballing hour, and you can watch its first trailer above.

Bobby will celebrate the life of England and West Ham legend Bobby Moore, perhaps the country's greatest ever defender, with contributions from his team-mates, opponents and those who were inspired by him.

Pele, Sir Geoff Hurst and Wayne Rooney are among those who contribute to the movie, which documents the triumph and tragedy behind Moore, who lost his battle with cancer in 1993.

With never-before seen archive footage the film, due for release in cinemas and on DVD in May, Moore's finest hour will be brought to the big screen in the most spectacular way possible.

After a post-playing career that saw Moore's influence on the game fade this year has seen growing efforts within Parliament to knight Moore as a way of commemorating the 1966 triumph.

Sports minister Tracey Crouch is expected to support any such bid, though a change in either the law or honours system would be required to commemorate Moore.
