Brentford forward Scott Hogan has his sights set on scoring a goal a game for the rest of 2016, starting with tonight’s trip to Bristol City.

Hogan scored both goals in Brentford’s 2-1 win over Burton on Saturday to take his tally for the season to 13.

After tonight, Brentford go to Leeds and host Cardiff and Norwich before the year is out.

Hogan said: “I want to be at 17 goals by the start of January. That is my aim and I want to kick on in the second half of the season.

“Another four or five goals in the next few games will make me a happy man but we have to win games. If I don’t score and we win those games then I am not bothered.”
