Just when Tottenham needed a break following a packed festive Schedule, Sam Vokes cancelled out Nacer Chadli's opener to force a replay at White Hart Lane next week.

Chadli's deflected strike looked likely to settle a hard-fought FA Cup tie which drew less than 10,000 spectators to Turf Moor on a cold Monday evening in January.

Substitute Harry Kane had the chance to put the tie beyond their hosts as he bore down on Tom Heaton's goal, but his angled strike was kept out by the Burnley 'keeper.

And Heaton's save paid off as the Clarets booked a trip to White Hart Lane on Wednesday week when Vokes converted past Michel Vorm to mark his return from injury.

If Spurs win the replay they could yet have seven matches to play before the month is out and Mauricio Pochettino admits he is concerned by the hectic schedule.

"I am disappointed because we have to play another game. We have a lot of games ahead," the Argentine said after the whistle.
