Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has completed a loan move to Juventus, the Italian club has confirmed.

Juventus announced the transfer on Twitter and revealed they have agreed a deal to acquire the forward's registration rights until 2019.

Cuadrado's Blues contract expires in the summer of 2019 and the move appears to have effectively ended his Chelsea career, with Juventus retaining an option to sign the Colombian for €25m in three years' time.

Cuadrado first arrived at Chelsea from Italian side Fiorentina in February 2015, a few months after he impressed at the 2014 World Cup with his nation Colombia.

However, the winger subsequently made just four Premier League starts under former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho before he was sent on loan to Juve last season.

After then impressing for the Serie A champions, Cuadrado returned to Chelsea and was given hope he was firmly part of Conte's plans when the Italian said: "I am pleased to train him and when today you can have a substitution of Cuadrado and Pedro to replace Willian and [Victor] Moses, it is good for Chelsea.

"Cuadrado is a Chelsea player and I hope he remains one."

But the 28-year-old will now link up with Massimiliano Allegri in Turin as Juventus attempt to defend their Serie A crown.
