Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge very quickly turned sour as Chelsea raced into a two-goal lead against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Portuguese boss was all smiles before the match as he embraced his former captain John Terry on the touchline and received applause from some sections of the Chelsea support.

But it took just 30 seconds for the Blues to establish a lead and Gary Cahill converted 20 minutes later as they threatened to run riot.

The defender, who has now scored in nine straight Premier League seasons, was lurking at the back post and emphatically dispatched Eden Hazard's knockdown.

The relative ease with which Chelsea moved into a comfortable position led hometo chant 'you're not special anymore' at Mourinho as United looked set to miss the chance to close the gap to neighbours and top flight leaders Manchester City.

And Mourinho's face revealed all you needed to know about the damaging prospect of a third Premier League defeat in nine as Cahill struck.
