David Moyes is hoping to make January additions to his West Ham squad after climbing to 11th in the Premier League with their biggest win of the season.

Goals from Mark Noble, Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini saw the Hammers hit four past Huddersfield as Moyes recorded his 200th win in the Premier League.

West Ham have been linked with the likes of Alfie Mawson, Jonjo Shelvy, Harry Arter and Steven N'Zonzi this month but yet to conclude any business and Moyes insists bolster his squad is a priority.

"The board know - and they want to add a few players - it's just the difficulty of the month," he told reporters. "We want to add players if that is possible."

West Ham are now within a point of a top-half place with a 14th point from Moyes's 12th game in charge.

Moyes continued: "We have a long way to go but the players have done brilliantly well since we came in and they did very well today," David Moyes told reporters.

"I'm really pleased with Marko Arnautovic. Everybody knew how good he was at Stoke City and maybe giving him a freer role up front has given him a chance to express himself.

"You need things to go for sure and we got that goal right after the kick-off."
