John Terry’s racism hearing will be held at a secret location on September 24.

The former England captain has been charged by the Football Association with using “abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour” towards Ferdinand in Chelsea’s Premier League game against Queens Park Rangers last October.

The hearing, which has been delayed by the appointment of the three-man commission, could run for two or three days. Westminster Magistrates’ Court cleared Terry in July of racially abusing Ferdinand.

Chelsea host Rangers on Saturday and Terry and Ferdinand are both are expected to recover from injuries in time to play. Terry damaged his ankle on England duty and Ferdinand has been hampered by a shoulder problem.
