The quality - or otherwise - of Neil Warnock's signings has been put under the spotlight since his weekend sacking.

Before the takeover by Tony Fernandes:
Kieron Dyer (Free)
The injury-prone winger was carried off a few minutes into the first game of the season against Bolton and is set to miss the rest of the campaign with a foot injury.
Verdict: Miss
Jay Bothroyd (Free)
Scored only two goals so far and is already being linked with a move away. Has not led the line with much conviction.
Verdict: Miss
Danny Gabbidon (Free)
The centre-half has been guilty of a number of mistakes in recent weeks and has struggled against top-quality opposition.
Verdict: Miss
DJ Campbell (£1.25m)
Injury and illness have restricted the striker to a disappointing record of just one League start and one goal.
Verdict: Miss
Warnock also signed two squad players in defender Bruno Perone and keeper Brian Murphy on frees.
Post Fernandes takeover:
Joey Barton (Free)
The combative midfielder (below) is in the headlines more for his outbursts on Twitter than his performances. As captain, he cannot claim to have led by example.
Verdict: Miss
Luke Young (£2.5m)
The right-back certainly provided plenty of endeavour for Warnock, working hard to help the team both defensively and as an attacking force.
Verdict: Hit
Armand Traore (£1.2m)
Is showing plenty of potential and while his inexperience shows at times, the left-back clearly can look forward to a bright future.
Verdict: Hit
Shaun Wright-Phillips (£4m)
Has faded after a good start to his Rangers career and the fact that he still hasn't scored for the club is a major disappointment.
Verdict: Miss
Anton Ferdinand (£4.5m)

Performed well at centre-half and his game only dipped, somewhat understandably, for a few weeks following the high-profile clash with John Terry.
