Fulham sky-high confidence leaves Scott Parker no reason to grumble ahead of Chelsea clash

Scott Parker says Fulham have no issues with Chelsea having an extra day to prepare for their match tomorrow as his team’s confidence is so high right now.

Parker’s side had been due to play Chelsea tonight, but the fixture was moved to tomorrow after Fulham’s match at Tottenham was rearranged for Wednesday.

The Fulham boss had been furious with the short-notice rescheduling of the clash with Spurs, with the decision only confirmed on Monday morning, two days after his side had faced QPR in an FA Cup tie that went to extra-time.

However, the Cottagers picked up a superb point against Jose Mourinho’s men courtesy of Ivan Cavleiro’s second-half equaliser.

“It’s a good time for us to be playing any team,” Parker said.

“I feel we’re in a good place, I feel like confidence is high in the squad, I feel like there’s a group of players here who are starting to feel their worth in this division.

“Saturday is a quick turnaround, but one we are prepared for.”
