Javier Hernanadez has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is considering his future at Old Trafford after falling down the pecking order under David Moyes.

Hernanadez took to Twitter on Sunday and retweeted an article in which compatriot Carlos Vela encouraged the Manchester United forward to weigh up his options.

The move immediately sparked speculation among fans that the Mexico international is eying up a route out of the club.

Vela, who himself struggled to establish a regular starting role during his seven-year spell at Arsenal, told The People: "He is one of the best finishers in England and deserves chances under the new coach.

"If he plays regularly he will score, so I don't totally understand why a player of his quality has not played more games.

"If he doesn't play regularly he will need to think about leaving.”

And Hernandez suggested he concurred with Vela when he promoted the article on his personal feed.

The 25-year-old has only made one Premier League start this term during which he was sacrificed for Robin van Persie before the hour mark.
