Sam Allardyce made one change for the trip to Manchester City as Carlton Cole came in for the injured Diafra Sakho.

Sakho was forced off with a thigh strain in the 1-1 draw with Stoke last weel and Allardyce later confirmed he would not take any risks with the Senegal international.

The Hammers boss said: "He may be back before the end of the season he may not, we will just have to be very careful with his thigh strain and make sure we do not get a recurrence. We will not be risking him at 95% fitness - we would have to be sure there was no problem before we risked him."

Carlton Cole comes in for Sakho, while City made four changes to the side which lost at Old Trafford last week.
