Manchester United stars were busy at work this week with Premier League clubs prepare to step up plans for the season to resume.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - who welcomes the previously injured Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba back into the squad - put his players through their paces at Carrington on Tuesday, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial joining the socially-distanced sessions.

While United were on a run of 11 unbeaten games prior to the Premier League's shutdown, fans will be boosted to see Fernandes and Pogba side by side in what promises to be an intriguing midfield match-up.

United will be joined by the remaining 19 Premier League clubs in a vote for a return to contact training on Wednesday in what comes as a pivotal week for the success of Project Restart.

With the Premier League's return continuing to gather pace, club captains and managers will consulted on the proposals with representatives from both the PFA and LMA prior to the meeting.
