Former France defender Willy Sagnol believes all the conditions are in place for Paul Pogba to leave Manchester United and sign for Real Madrid this summer.

Pogba is admired by Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane and Los Blancos could move for the midfielder during the next transfer window after being put off by United's £150million valuation last year.

"All of the conditions are there for Pogba to go to Real Madrid," Sagnol told RMC Sport. "[Real president] Florentino [Perez] wants it, Zidane wants it, Pogba as well.

"Even Manchester [United] would be pleased, because it would remove a high wage and they would have money to invest in new players. Everything is prepared for it to happen."

Madrid seem likely to be one of the clubs least affected by the financial impacts of coronavirus, but it remains to be seen whether Los Blancos will be able to spend big money on new players once the window opens.

Meanwhile, Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, said last month that he would like to take a 'great player' to Real Madrid this summer.
