Ian Holloway says QPR are building an identity and that he is loving his side's work, as they continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-1 win against Hull City.

Rangers were expected to struggle in the Championship having finished 18th last season, winning just one of their last eight league games, but they sit sixth in the table after securing seven points from their first four outings.

Idrissa Sylla scored an injury time winner on Saturday as they came from behind to win at Loftus Road and Holloway said: “I think our identity is coming.

“We close, we press, we chase, we work and everyone is doing it. They will learn as a group and I am loving what they are doing at the minute.”

Sylla, who opened his account with the close-range winner said: “There is no better feeling than scoring a winning goal in the last minute.

“That is three home wins in a row now at Loftus Road this season and we need to maintain that form in front of our own supporters.”

Holloway will now be looking to add a fourth home win on the trot when they host out of form Brentford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
