Ramires says chip against Barcelona in the Champions League semi final was his best at Chelsea

Ramires has revealed which of his goals at Chelsea he thinks has been the best of his career after choosing his strike against Barcelona three years ago as his most memorable to date.

In a recent interview with charity Football Beyond Borders, the Brazilian admitted his fine goal against the Catalan giants in the Champions League semi-final in 2012 was his best because of the "beautiful" way he managed to chip it over Victor Valdes.

Chelsea had been losing 2-0 in the clash at the Camp Nou thanks to goals from Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta and were also a man down following the dismissal of John Terry, but Ramires stepped up to instigate an unlikely comeback.

The midfielder latched onto Frank Lampard's through-ball before gently lifting it over the incoming Valdes to get Chelsea back into the game before Fernando Torres scored late on to send the Blues into the final - which they went on to win.

And when asked by FBB TV, what his best goal during his time at Chelsea had been, Ramires said: "Without a doubt, my goal against Barcelona.

"It was a difficult game, we were losing 2-0 at the end of the first half. We were one man down, we got the ball back.

"If I'm not wrong, [John] Obi [Mikel] passes me the ball and I pass it on to [Frank] Lampard who gives me the ball back.

"I managed to get the ball and strike it well and it turned out as a beautiful goal."
