Russell Slade slams Orient flops

Fury: Russell Slade

Furious Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has demanded an improvement from his side when they host Huddersfield this weekend.

Orient pulled off an impressive win at Brighton last week but were outplayed as they lost 2-0 at Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.

Slade has told his men to show more consistency and said: "We're better than that. We didn't show it, but there will be another day and we'll dust ourselves down. Our pride is hurt at the minute but we need to bounce back."

And striker Scott McGleish reckons Huddersfield's free-flowing football could play into Orient's hands.

"We might be able to get our passing game going (against Huddersfield) and it's going to come down to who wants it the most," he said.
